We are heading east from Southern California to Orlando for the first time. Our Spring Break is late this year, from Apr. 11-15. We will be in Orlando from Apr. 11-16...I have no idea when anyone else's SB is...I know most are usually the week before/after Easter. Anyone have any idea how bad it will be the week we are there?

We are still trying to work out our plans. I bought the Buy 2, Get 3 Day UO/IOA hopper pass last month. We don't need to do MK, don't want to do AK, or SW (we have annual passes to Disneyland and live an hour from SW San Diego). We will want to go to Epcot one day.

We are staying at the Marriott Cypress Harbour. Does UO/IOA usually open a bit early? We have 4 children, ages 6, 9, 12 and 14, and they are all fearless (and tall), so we want to do it all. :-) I keep hearing/reading about Mythos, is it worth it? What I've read sounds really cool. How soon should we make reserations?

Any other advice from you pros?

Thanks!

Orlando schools are on spring break this week. Friday was a half day of school and they are off for all of this week March 21-25.

Broward schools are also on spring break right now. So is Arizona because I was at Disney Land last week and it was packed.
You won't have any problems in mid April.
School breaks happen earlier and earlier each year. The school calendars are messed up if you ask me. At least yours is correct happening in April like it should. Summer break is also early for most. Kids get out of school in June, then go back the first week of August. The weather is still hot thru September, yet the parks up north are closed down during the week because they can't get anyone to work. In the case of IOA/USF, they close the park early.
