Spring break ?

I am looking at a mother daughter spring break trip 3/24-27, we would stay at the Hilton since I have 92,000 points that otherwise will expire, and that gets us 3 free nights, plus we could do the "child" special on 3 day hoppers.

So , anyone been in that timeframe ? How are the crowds? Do we know spring break dates for orange and LA county ?

We went that time earlier this year, (actually a week before that time period), and loved it.

We were there over St. Patrick's Day. The crowds were not bad over the weekend before. In fact, we talked to a few CMs and they were all expecting much heavier crowds, so much so that they even had the Columbia out and running during the day. They usually don't put it into operation unless they are expecting lots of people!

However, on St. Patrick's days and the rest following it, the park filled up quickly. That was also the week before Easter, so no doubt a large portion of spring breaks started that time.

The weather was great! Short sleeves in the day, and light sweaters at night. A couple of nights it got a little chilly, but not bad. We even went on GRR a couple of times during the day because the weather was so warm.

I personally love this time of year. It is great if you can get in on a not-to-busy week that has the full entertainment schedule running.

That's what I am thinking....there will be crowds, but should be long hours to compensate.

We go every year during Spring Break. I make sure and arrive very early at the gate. Last year in fact I got to sign "THE BOOK!"

I can get so much done early and there is just nothing like being there while Disneyland is waking up.

Use your fastpasses, zig when everyone zags, you'll be fine.

This year, 2008, Easter was early so it was more crowded than it normally is.
