Spring Break

OUR DAUGHTERS SPRING BREAK FOR 2003 IS FROM MARCH 24TH TO MARCH 28TH. WE WERE WONDERING HOW BUSY THE PARKS AND OKW ARE AT THESE TIMES OR WOULD A COUPLE OF WEEKS EARLIER BE BETTER. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

This year Easter was during that period. Next year Easter is April 20 (I think). That should ease things up a bit at the end of March.

There's a thread on the Theme Parks forum that was asking for Spring Break dates. Unfortunately, I can't get my browser to allow me to post the link. Most of Chicago's norther suburbs are on break that week and the following.

My spring break is always the first week of April (beginning about March28 or so), and is always nice and relaxed--except for this year, which happened to be Easter. This year was horrible, of course. But it is usually nice when Easter goes and visits someone else's spring break week We have even gotten many nice perks during our week--last year annual passholders got a room rate of $89 per night at the PortOrleans and Caribbean, which we really loved for those dreaded Friday-Saturday nights. I refuse to use my precious DVC points on those nights, so the end of March should be a goood time to go to Florida next year.

These dates should be fine. We have been visiting for my (college) spring break alternate years, during the third week of March. This year was relatively busy because of the early Easter holiday, but I expect next year to be quite good in late March. We will be in London (our alternate year destination), so one less couple for you to contend with. Enjoy.

I work for a school district in Upstate NY and our spring Break is late again next year as it falls the week following Easter which is April 20. For some reason our break is always later than most. Last yera we actually took the kids out of school for the week (yep bad mommy complex!) prior to our break which was everyone else's break and the crowds weren't really any diffrent from this year which was a non break week. We did find many local schools having Senior trips last month.
