Our break is week of March 30--it's going to be crowded.

But if you were guessing, is it any less crowded Monday than Tuesday? Or vice-versa? Planning a college tour trip, and thinking younger sister will be less annoyed if we sneak in a trip to DL, so we just need to decide if we break up trip with DL visit, or start the week that way.

Just wondering your opinion.

Try for Wednesday. M/T crowds = Tuesday is early entry and is also an inexpensive day to fly out of in the evening. Monday is "one more day of missing school won't hurt and great to see the shows last night"

Wednesday we'll be on to amother campus in another part of the state. Decision has to be made by May 1, so it's crunch time.

Choose Tues instead of Monday, there may be a little less people trying to make a longer weekend out of it. But expect spring break to be busy, but manageable, we've been twice this time of year.

Everyday that week is ranked at 10 on Touring Plans so the parks will be crowed whichever day that you choose. But I agree with the OP that Tuesday may be the better choice.

Interesting!!! Looks like touringplans is trying to regain its reputation by indicating during spring break the resort is going to have admission gate closures, ride waits above 2 hours, hubs impassable and long lines at the churro stands.

i can understand 8.5 with the measles, poor weather and refurbs causing a backlash for high attendance. But a 10?

The operating hours and entertainment schedules should be similar for both Monday and Tuesday, so at least that does not have to factor into your plans. If it were me, I would probably lean towards Tuesday over Monday as Satye1 suggested for the same reason: the long weekend folks are more likely have headed home and the ones arriving for the Easter weekend may not have arrived yet. Also (and I honestly don't know if it makes a difference), there is Cheer competition at the Anaheim Convention through Monday (United Spirit Association All Stars & College Nationals).

I have done Spring Break at DL two years in a row. Both times, we did Tuesday and Wednesday. Both times, the parks were busy but not unmanageable. We used Early Entry one year because we stayed onsite. The other year we stayed off site and were at the park WITHOUT early entry at rope drop. Both times we got a heck of a lot done and had fun.
