We are taking the kids (8yrs & 3 yrs) on their first trip to WDW spring break, but we want to suprise them with it on Christmas. Please give me some great ideas from some of you who have done this.

Also, where can I buy Disney Dollars now to give them for Christmas?
Where can I buy those special guest name tag thingys I've heard about?

Trying to get a plan together...

That is so cool! Your family will not be able to contain themselves!!!:D

Last year we bought a huge stuffed Mickey from the Disney store, put the kids' park passes in his hands, and wrapped him up in a box.

I also remember when I was a kid, my parents put our airline tickets in an envelope on the tree. We finished opening up all of our presents and thought we were done, then my Mom said, "oh look, Santa must have left one more thing, I wonder what it is?" Needless to say, it was the best Christmas ever :)

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

We have ordered custom t-shirts with our family name and "Spring Break 2004 at Walt Disney World" from the Disney Store. They haven't come yet, but I am hoping that they will be great. We are also going to wrap the planning DVD we just got and put it under the tree as well.

We hope it will be a great Christmas surprise.

if you call about reservations and such you will also get a letter saying something along the line of "happy to hear you are planning a trip to visit us in the Spring", It was great listening to my DS read the letter and then see the look on his face when he understood what it was saying! The disney store has all sorts of fun little things you could add to the special gift to let them start enjoying things a little now. We bought the little lights that twirl, little water squirting fans, t shirts, suckers, stickers, and one of the best things we bought early was autograph books. I bought hard back journals on clearance and found disney iron ons and we were set to go! Have a great time! I can tell youthis site is great for getting extra info to help make your trip magical!

Hi,

I was just wondering when Spring Break is? We are coming from Scotland from 18th March to 8th April - and I think that we will just be heading home just before the Easter crowds - am I being too optimistic??:sunny:

I think I read somewhere that the spring breaks are staggered, but more info would be great

Thanks

Carol

The spring breaks are staggered out. I'd would think that towards the end of March and into April is when you will be able to notice the crowds getting larger. I believe most go on break the week before Easter. I'm sure someone will be able to give you some more information, but I hope this helped a little.
