Thank you all! You’re making me feel a little better. We have done Disney a handful of times before and I’m pretty confident in our touring strategy (skip MK on Monday’s, avoid parks with EMH, rope drop every park, good FP strategy, etc). We did Disney the first week of June 2017 and the crowds seemed very reasonable to us, we had a good plan, and in two days at MK did most stuff at least twice. I’m taking deep breaths and trying to embrace the busy LOL.
I actually loved the trip we did between xmas and NYE. It really made us just stop and smell the funnel cake
Once the park got crowded after rope drop and after using our FP, we did the lower crowd rides a bunch and looked around at details, which we don't often have time to do. We lingered over our dining reservations and just took a more leisurely attitude toward it. We liked it so much, that I am really looking forward to our upcoming Thanksgiving trip.
