Spring break , tips for touring?

never done a full universal trip, my friend is going spring break, how bad are the crowds? Are there any events/dining that she should make a reservation in anticipation of large spring break crowds?

The reservation window isn’t even open yet. You have plenty of time. There are no events to reserve. Restaurant reservations can be made just a few days out (and many you can just walk up to).
Best advice is to stay onsite for the perks (even if only early entry from the cheaper hotels).

nothing formal. Few weeks out. Remember this isn’t Disney and no one is going to be on the reservation line/ page at exactly noon on the window opening time. Things aren’t going to sell out. You can try Open Table now. Some hotel and CityWalk restaurants are listed there.
