Spring Break next year.... dates????

Okay, we are looking to plan our vacation for next year.
Yep, we book way in advance so that we can get the time-share that we want!

Easter is April 24th.
And, we are looking to avoid Spring Break crowds and college kids.

Does anyone here have any idea when their Spring Break may fall???
When Easter is late, like it will be next year, I think most schools have to go ahead and plan their Spring Break earlier. With maybe just a day or two for Easter.

I know we can travel the end of March, 3-20 thru 3-27

I think early April would avoid Spring Break, And I might prefer early April, but I think that availability might be limited at that time.

Our school calendar is out for next year and our spring break is the week after Easter. We're out for Good Friday and then April 25- 29. I'm in North Carolina.

I work at a Catholic High school and our Easter Break for 2011 is April 21, returning to school on May.

I'm already dreading May 2011....too much to do when exams start May 18th

I live in Central Indiana, and most of the school districts around here (including the big one, IPS) have Spring Break next year the week of March 28-April 3, same as last year. Easter has not a bearing on when Spring Break is for several years, it has just been the last week of March through the first of April each year around here.

If I can get in between Spring Break and Easter Break, that would be ideal!

Spring break for public schools where we live is not based around Easter. It's always the first week in April. Our state universities always have their spring breaks in mid-March.

Northern Indiana here and according to the FWCS website - FWCS and FWEA have tentatively agreed to have spring break 4/4-8.

NWAC and SWAC districts have 4/1-8. EACS don't have theirs up yet, but would take a good guess they will be the same week as the rest of school districts in Allen County. It is interesting that the "county" school districts, that have several more no school snow days, have the Friday before off and the "city" school district doesn't.

Aww. I hate it when we go from an early Easter to a late one the next yr. I suppose the good news is since I don't have kids it doesn't really affect me much.

We are in NC and our kids' spring break is from 3/25-4/3 (public school)

Massachusetts is out the week of April 17th. We are also in the process of looking up flights and lining things up for next year!

March - April anything in between that is Spring Break somewhere....

I don't know the dates yet, but ours is always mid-March.

Next years ours is alot different and earlier then usual, Feb 12-28th. The Canada winter games will be here so they are giving them a week for that an another for spring break.

We are the week leading up to Easter.

Honestly, I think any week in April will have Spring Breakers there. If that is really your goal, maybe the 2nd week in May would avoid them ? I don't know if you run into college kids then ?

I cruised the week of March 8th this year and that was the first of the two major college spring break weeks.

DS is in college and his is around the first or second week of March and DD will be in HS and hers is the last week of March.
