Spring Break Discounts?

So does Disney not typically offer any discounts over spring break (first week of April)? I thought they always had some type of discount going on.

disney typically does not offer discounts from a full week before easter to a full week after easter.

they don't need to cuz people are gonna visit anyways regardless of room rates.

you can count on it being quite expensive if you want to go during that two week period.

I think there are dscounts out right now for your travel time period. Check out mousesavers.com on their front page and just keep scrolling down until you see the post. It is up to 35% off, and package deals are also available at a discount.

Disney itself typically doesn't offer deals the week leading up to Easter (that is always our exact week); however, this year they are indeed offering a deal -- no Easter blackout! The deal was released maybe 4 days ago. Not all room types are available with this deal, as in all deals, but they did not blackout the Easter timeframe. We got BC for 30% off through Disney, then I re-booked this same deal with an extra 15% off through Orbitz. Taking into consideration Orbitz fees, the total Easter week discount was about 40% off rack rate!!
