Spring Break Dining

I just made dining reservations for Easter week at Chef Mickey's and the Castle, I was shocked, I called yesterday in the afternoon and got both at the times I wanted, maybe with the economy, Easter won't be so crowded!
Anyone else find this to be true?

What dates are you going? I am hoping for the same luck. We are going April 15 through the 25. I have to wait till next week to make my ADR's

I am glad you got what you wanted!

I think part of the ease of reservations is that very few seem to be aware that you can make reservations at 180 still for Chef Mickey, Cinderella's Royal Table and Victoria & Albert's.

Because the dining reservation system is being upgraded, the reservations are closed for anything after February 22, 2009, other than those three exceptions.

It's a loophole that those reading here on the Dis are well aware of, but many of the general public would not ask when calling.

I just hope everyone is equally as lucky when it's November 21 and the reservation window opens from February 22 - May 20.

When I called yesterday, the CM told me to call back the first week in November as she thought they might be ready early for other reservations. We are going April 5-10.
