April 3rd Day 2

The weather this day was not on our side and all though it began beautiful it soon turned ugly. I woke up at my usual 5am workout time(at home) and 6am WDW time and went down to work out and was it crowded, I was only able to get a bike and then finish up w/a few laps around the lake at BWV w/a stop at the Bakery on my way back up to the room. Well DH was dressed and heading w/our friend Randy to Goodings for some essentials while I got ready.
Upon DH's return we went to MGM which was a mass of humanity right form the word go. We had learned from our trip in January that unless absolutley neccessary do not bring a bag to be checked and skip one more line, those lines were insane as well as the one's to get into the park. We are unacustomed to this calibar of crowds. We rode Muppets and then Star Tours when it began raining, mostly spitting, so we grabbed a bus for the AK. It wasn't raining over there and we thought about getting a FP for Dinosaur, but that was a 20 min wait for the FP! We grbbed some lunch at Flame Tree which is a favorite for us and then the rains came. We made an escape for BWV and rested in the room for the duration of the day.
The Campers had spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon and met us in our room about 7pm and we proceeded to ESPN for dinner and few drinks. Afterwords we were all pretty tired and called it a day since the next day we'd all be "parking"together.

Flame Tree is one of our favorites too. Sounds like a wonderful day!

Too bad about MGM with the lines and rain, but glad to see WDW is o big that its raining in one park and not in another! :p Thanks for posting!
