Spring Break Dates

I'm thinking of booking a trip over our Spring Break (March 28-April 1) but am afraid of the crowds. A friend mentioned that school districts don't always do Spring Break at the same time. So.....when is your child's Spring Break this year?

The week of April 11th for the public schools in our town. Some of the districts in our area are the week of April 18th.
My daughter's college is the week of March 14th.

Since your week involves Easter, you can expect heavy crowds....maybe not as heavy as the prior week but still heavy.

Spring breaks run the 2nd week of March thru the end of April...the 2 busiest weeks being the week before and the week after Easter. Our spring break here next to Disney is March 12-22.

My husband is a teacher and his spring break for his school district is the week of March 14th. My kids' spring break for their school district is the week of March 21st. So yes, spring breaks definitely vary. Like others said, I've heard the time around Easter is busiest. But I personally don't think the crowds are that bad in March. We went in March of 2011 and I thought it was fine! Hot, but not too crowded. Of course you're talking to someone who usually goes at Christmas time when it's totally insane so my perspective may be skewed!

Our district doesn't do a Spring Break most years - this year included.

We've been twice around the first & second week of March, and I thought the crowds were fine. Hope that's the case this year!

Ours is the week following Easter. (March 25-April 3) Have been 3 times either the week b4 or week after Easter. (We go frequently). Don't recommend it if it's your first trip. Not worth fighting the crowds.

Ours is the week of Feb 29th. We will be in WDW Feb26-March1st then on a DCL cruise March 2-6. So far it was easy to book everything I wanted and the cruise far was not too bad when I booked. Looks like a slower week for Disney. Only airfare out of Mtl, Vermont or upstate NY is outrageous so we are driving.

Ours in the first week in April, I believe it starts the 3rd? That seems to be our only option this year, so we'll suck it up.

Spring break here (in CT) is the week of April 18th.

Our Spring Break here in Central New York starts on 4/22 with kids going back to school on 5/2. My youngest and I will be in WDW that week.

My DD who is in college is the the last week of Feb and my Grandkids is the last week of March. DD has season passes to Universal so that is where she will be, Grandkids not sure where they are going.
