Spring Break Dates

I wanted to plan a trip around spring break, so I don't get caught up in the crowds. I was thinking of April 6th-9th.

Does anyone know if this is when local schools are out or does Spring break not start til around Easter?

Please help!! Do you think this is a good time to go?

The schools here have spring break anywhere from mid-March until late April. Many schools are year-round (like my daughter's) and she has 3/31 - 4/25 off. I definitely would avoid the week before and after Easter to avoid peak crowds, but spring break runs a LONG time here and you could get crowds any time during the times listed above.
