Spring Break crowds finally thinning...

I've been watching the MDE wait line app today and wait times have significantly improved. I wonder if crowds have thinned or if Disney realized their mistake cutting staff the last week and added more people to keep things moving?!? Either way, I hope this trend continues!!

I was at MK on Monday and yes the crowds had thinned quite a bit from the previous 2-3 weeks. That week after Easter was pretty brutal crowd-wise. I felt sorry for people.

So funny, I was looking at the Disney app today also (I guess we need to get a life. lol) and the wait times were great in MK. Mid day BTMR was 20 minute wait and all the rest of the rides were low wait times as well. I was jealous I was not there.

Just in time for thousands of runners (including me!) to descend upon the parks!

We are headed there on Sunday and I am very happy to hear this-hoping things stick! I was getting kind of nervous based on the reports I was seeing.

It'll pick up at the end of the month. MANY schools have spring break during Passover and that's when most public northeast schools have off.

I wish my trip was a week later -- I was there last week and crowds were tough! Epcot on Friday was surprisingly less crowded than I expected, though.

Every time I read about the last week in April being busy, I get nervous! That's when we are going! I know we will have a great trip no matter what, but I am starting to wonder just how busy I should expect it to be!! It shouldn't be as bad as the weeks surrounding Easter...right?

I'm going the week of the 25th, and I'm not expecting it too be overly crowded. I'd say the wait times this week are a pretty good guide going forward until summer breaks get going.

I sure hope not - that's when we're going, too - but I've got to say, I'm nervous. I definitely think it'll be busier than this week since a lot of schools seem to have a short break planned (heck, DD's school being closed for a couple of days is why we chose that week to go!).

We are going April 22-26th. I'm a little worried about the week too. I was glad to see the crowds thinning but it I'm from MO and had no idea that NY was off that week. I still can't see it making it miserable, but I am nervous. We will be at MK Saturday and Monday. I'm much more worried about Monday as I think many will be traveling on Saturday, either coming or going. I just keep telling myself that I have planned way better than thousands of the people that will be there!

I think the crowds have eased up. I've been here since Saturday 4/9. Went to MK on Sunday and thought it was crowded and frustrating. Went back Tuesday and thought it was better. Monday night, got a great spot for SW fireworks on Hollywood Blvd maybe 20 min before show, and people were still coming up and finding spots. I really think this week is a "lull" in Spring Breaks. Massachusetts is still coming next week.

I am traveling to WDW the last week of April as well. My guess is that it will be slightly more crowded than this week (and probably next week?) but still not as crowded as the period directly around Easter. At least, that's my hope! :) I have traveled over April Break before and found wait-times manageable. I guess we won't really know until we get there!
