Hello everyone!

My family (myself, husband and 7 year old daughter) have been planning our April 7 - 14 trip to Disneyland since we returned from Disneyland last April. Our timing last year was perfect we went from the 22 -29 of April. The crowds were bearable during the weekend. During the week there were no crowds. Perfect.

However, after booking our vacation this year I have been told that the crowds will be terrible due to spring break. I am soooo worried. My main concern is that this trip is not a complete let down and waste of money for my family.

My question is - are the crowds expected to be as bad as Christmas / New Years? Will we run the risk of the park being filled to capacity? I just need to prepare myself mentally. It will be helpful if I know what to expect.

By the way, we love anything Disney - Walt Disney World, Disneyland, The Disney Channel, Disney Movies. I hope that I can still say that after our vacation.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

We are going april 9 - 13 and although I know it will be crowed as long as you gone in knowing that should be ok. Also being that you going to be there several days you should be able to set your own pace no matter how crowed. trips of longer then 3 days I notice the crowd seems to be less of a problem even 3 days not so bad. Crowds for me are a problem when I only have a day or 2.

Just relax and enjoy its the happiest place on earth

just follow all of the common sense "rules" get there early, do FL rides first, use FP, go to DCA when DL gets crowded and then a nice rest at the hotel. Then spend evening hrs back in DL .

IT will be craze busy because you are hitting the park during Easter time.
That, combined with Spring Break is the problem.

We planned our trip 2-7 April because it is the last week before the peak season begins. It will be crazy when you get there, but if you don't mind just rolling with the crowds and maximize your fast passes, you should have a Disney time.
