Spring Break 4/18 - Central NY - WDW Crowds?

I just learned that there is a "spring break" for schools in Central NY state the week of 4/18. Does anyone know how big of an area of NY this covers, and what effect it may have on the crowds in WDW?

Most public schools in the NYC metropolitan area are also off that week.

Rochester area has this week off.

Central New York is generally defined as the I-90 corridor between Rochester to about halfway from Syracuse to Albany.

I have no idea how much this affects travel to WDW ... my guess would be some people, but not a massive influx.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut are also off that week...
Prepare for crowds, and you'll be pleasantly surprised if they're not too bad...We'll be there, too!

Many of the schools in WNY are off that week too (that would be the Buffalo & Niagara Falls area to the PA border). I know we are currently booked that week and have to decide by tomorrow morning if we're still going. We're probably rescheduling to the first week of May, but it's for work related reasons, not the possible crowds.
Anyhow, I do know that booking a flight was interesting. I booked in mid-Feb for this trip. Anyhow, at that tiime, many Southwest flights were already closed, and there were 2 days that were booked solid. I ended up w/ Jetblue because SW had very little available to Orlando from Buffalo. Usually we have our pick of flights and usually the cheapest fare.

NYC public schools have the following week off the week of the 23 for passover.

Well, thanks for the info. I thought with Easter being early, this might be okay. I will plan for the crowd, and hope to be suprised!!!
