Spring Ahead tonight

Remember folks: The clocks move forward an hour tonight at 2 am. (Or at least for those of us in the US.)

Needless to say, we forgot.

My husband had to up at 6:30 so he could be at a Communion Breakfast at school. I woke up, saw that the the clock on the TV said "6:52" and got him up in a hurry!!!

He was in the shower before I realized that the other clock... the one that ISN'T automatically updated... said "5:52"

Poor guy rushed like crazy, only to be ready early!!!

I hate it!!!! THen again we've only had to do it for the past 2 years... so we are new to the whole thing (we live in Indiana and didn't observe daylight savings time till 2 years ago). Daylight savings... cracks me up when all the news keeps saying is that it's actully costing us like 3.15 more a day to cool our homes due to daylight savings time in Indiana even though we aren't using the lights til later! LOL
I'm going to have heck of a time talking my kids into go to bed at 8:00 when it's just getting really dark out... let alone a month from now!!!!

Upside we will have a hour longer of daylight in the parks this week and next weekend and week!!! LOL Down side it will hardly be light out at all if we go to AM EMH at 7AM!!!!
