Sorry I am combining 3 question in one post- thought it would be easier.
1) When Disney comes out with this long waited announcement for future 2012 dates how long will the dates span? I am looking to book a cruise for Spring 2013 (march/april). I was wondering if from people past experience if they think dates will come out that far in advance? I am trying to book as soon as they come out to get the best possible price.
2) I know that no one has any idea of what will come out with Disney's announcement but I would guess that some kind of Caribbean 7 day cruise may be available on the Fantasy since that is the itinerary she is starting to do in Spring 2012. I definitely would want to do a longer cruise because 3 days last time was not enough, and we already did Nassau. What are the differences between Eastern and Western becides the actual ports and Eastern has an extra sea day. Which is better for weather/beacher/calmer water for the ship to sail in general?
3) What is the best way to book when dates first come out? For my first cruise, this past march I booked online through DCL but I was thinking of maybe going through a TA this time to get more onboard credit? Any suggestions for the procedure of booking early to get the best possible rate?
Sorry for so many questions! Thanks for your help DIS
