So I went to get my mail today and there was a white envelope. But see I get white evenlopes every day from law schools and grad schools so i figure that was it. Plus since i just faxed my rehire paperwork last week i wasnt excepting anything till next week at the earliest. Nope it was from disney and I am accepted for Spring Advantage attractions. I am so excited and for all still waiting hang in there. Today was my sixth week mark .

I'm not sure of the exact date but i'm pretty sure i applied on September 18 and had my interview on the 22nd. And i am staying in the housing! i'm excited for that! I applied for all of them but janitor and the ones with the extra auditions like the characters and atmosphere characters,dancer etc,etc. But my top 3 choices in the interview were the ticket taker, merchandise, and attractions. And i got none of the above lol but like i said before, i wouldn't have applied for it if i didn't want to do it. When did you apply? and which positions? Will you be staying in housing? I leave on January 6th!! so soon!

I don't remember exactly when I applied, It was sometime over the labor day weekend I think. But It feels like I've been waiting forever. lol. I did apply for housing because I'm in Tucson, So I'm hoping everything goes as planned. My top three choices were Attractions, Photopass Photographer, and Guest Relations. ( I asked specifically for Indianna Jones, So hopefully that goes through too). lol. Congrats again.

Question to everyone... Has anyone had their recruiter actually answer emails or phone calls. It has been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing.

Yes I have both called and emailed my recruiter. Email I usually heard back that same day. She was really quick unless I emailed her at the end of the day then I usually heard back the next morning. As far as phone calls went that was pretty quick as well. Usually that same day or the next. Were they out of the office by chance? It seems weird that you havent heard anything

I don't know if she has been out of the office or not. I only get a voicemail when I call her. She hasn't mentioned being out the office but that doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't. I e-mailed her late on a Thursday night or Friday monring a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to bug them. I would just really like to know. I have multiple decisions that need to be made and whether I get accepted or not will greatly affect them. I actually have a really big decision to make next week so I REALLY hope to here from Disney by then... I am trying to not be impatient but I am not one that likes to cut things so close to the wire...

I'm not sure about the exact dates right now. But Spring is Jan-May, Advantage is Jan-Aug, and Quarter is March-Aug.

Im doing advtg and my dates (the 1st available for advtg) are Jan 21-Aug 7th.

the other ones were like Jan 27 or 28th and then like some day the firs week in february. I can't remember exactly besides the date i selected, but it seems like it might have been one check in date each week for 3 weeks?!? Something like that

Dates for Advantage are: 1/21, 1/28, and 2/2. I heard someone on the facebook group say they had 1/26, but I think they read the date wrong, since no one else has seen that as an option. I'm going down on the 21st and will come back August 7th. Both 1/28 and 2/2 leave on August 14th, so the 2/2 start-date is a week shorter. Not positive on the Spring dates, but I'm pretty sure they're listed on the facebook group, if you go there.

no the 26th was an option but it might not show up because im just Spring not advantage, and im a custodial maybe, the dates that show up vary by jobs and stuff i dont know but im definatly signed up to arrive on the 26th and come home on the 5th or 6th of june

So, question on roommates. I'm friends with someone on facebook and we want to be roommates; is it better to enter our information in the notification (or will they then pre-assign us our apartment complex?) or to just make sure we check-in together?

I would enter them in the notification system. This way you are guaranteed to room with them.

Since i'm driving i'll have to figure out how much time to give myself. Probably 5 days minimum!

I've heard yes and no. Most recently though, I've heard that the first person of the 2 who gets there can pick the complex. So I am going to go with that.

I'm going to second this, when I did mine I got there before my matched roommate was there and I got a choice of complex and apartment size. But I also heard the check in date before ours had less of a choice.
