We were on the Joaquin-detoured Fantasy cruise a month or so ago. The Concierge host gave us tickets for the Princess meet and greet (we weren't really looking to do it; PJ just suggested it would be fun).

Well, we went to the Atrium just as it was getting underway, and my wife and I looked at each other and both pretty much said, "I really don't want to do this, do you?" She immediately began looking for a little girl to give the ticket to. As we were walking past the staircase, we saw a family with several children, one being a girl who looked like she was 7 or 8.

My wife approached the Mom and asked her if they were there to see the Princesses. She replied that they just came to watch. They had tried to get tickets, but none were available. My wife handed her ours, and asked if they would like it. It was so sweet to see--that lady got choked up and teary-eyed, and while thanking my wife, showed it to her daughter. Both of their expressions were priceless.

We went up to the 4th deck elevator landing and watched her as she was greeted by each of the Princesses (Ariel was particularly engaging with all the kids). Mom was taking pictures as fast as she could.

It ended up being the highlight of our trip.

Nice of you to spread the magic!
In the same line, we were at EPCOT with DGS for his 4th birthday weekend, we had an issue with tickets to get into the park, we missed our first FP opening/closing window, and we were given extra FPs to use as we saw fit. Well we did not use them and wanted to head back to BCV to go swimming, found a family of three and passed them along.

Sharing the magic is fantastic. we had experience of fellow holiday makers sharing the Disney Magic, this was in 2013 in Disney Land California. After a huge dinner and Goofey's Kitchen both my husband and daughter decided they didn't want to hit the park in the evening for fireworks so they headed back to the hotel, so my son(8yr at the time) and I went into the park, enjoyed a few rides together, especially the star tours ride which he had always wanted to go on. We then headed over to watch the show in the lake over by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride(show's name eludes me now) and we sat patiently waiting for the show to take place, we got talking to a young couple who heard my son and I chatting and realised we were from the UK. They asked my son how he was enjoying the parks, and which was his favourite ride etc....to which he responded the star tours ride and that he would love to go on it again, but he was too tired to wait in line again. With that the young coulpe produced two fast passes for that very ride, that they had been given as a use anytime but 1 time only pass, they had already ridden the ride and really were not fussed about going again, it was just something they had been given as a promotion of some kind. My son was so excited that as soon as the show we had planned to watch had finished, he dragged me over to the ride and we didn't have to queue! that made his holiday!

We had a similar opportunity last December in the MK before our cruise. We were having an absolutely lousy trip (extremely long story) but we ended up with more FP to Anna and Elsa that we could use for our girls. We gave them to a family with 3 girls standing at the entrance where the stand buy wait was 90 minutes and dad had that "hell no" look on his face. It really was the turning point for the rest of our WDW and DCL vacation to share in spreading the joy to that family.
