and let me just say guys, nothing is more special than a thank you. or a smile even.
take it from someone who worked there. i have had days where i absolutley hated seeing spaceship earth over my head for 8+ hours every day of the week. ive had days where it was very close to christmas, my wheelchairs and
ecv's just sold out for the day before noon and someone is screaming at me because its obviously my fault that we don't have anymore and i ended up having to leave because i just couldn't keep from crying anymore..., and boy do i have even more stories to tell.
but you know what, i came to work every day because declaring someone princess of epcot for the day and giving her an obviously very special purple stroller was worth it. and because sharing information about the park i loved with curious guests that have never been before, really just made my day every time. guests are what make a cast member's day when you hear a thank you or get a smile.
completely back on topic though, ive heard of getting those autograph books that you usually get for characters and asking cast members to sign them. apparently this really surprised a whole lot of cast members and really made them feel special. :]
