How do you give thanks to cast members in wdw? I make thses bussiness card size saying " Thank you for making my Walt Disney World Vacation Magical" then i put a disney charactor with it.

Aw that sounds like a great idea!

I'm always super nice to them, and I looove having conversations with them. I know when I'm at work, I love when customers start holding a conversation with me. It helps me get through my day.

Thats a cute idea!

I just usually say Thanks and give them a smile. :)

and let me just say guys, nothing is more special than a thank you. or a smile even.

take it from someone who worked there. i have had days where i absolutley hated seeing spaceship earth over my head for 8+ hours every day of the week. ive had days where it was very close to christmas, my wheelchairs and ecv's just sold out for the day before noon and someone is screaming at me because its obviously my fault that we don't have anymore and i ended up having to leave because i just couldn't keep from crying anymore..., and boy do i have even more stories to tell.

but you know what, i came to work every day because declaring someone princess of epcot for the day and giving her an obviously very special purple stroller was worth it. and because sharing information about the park i loved with curious guests that have never been before, really just made my day every time. guests are what make a cast member's day when you hear a thank you or get a smile.

completely back on topic though, ive heard of getting those autograph books that you usually get for characters and asking cast members to sign them. apparently this really surprised a whole lot of cast members and really made them feel special. :]

that would be a great idea, i've always wanted to work there. they all look so happy!

I stayed at Hilton Head for two weeks and really had a great time. There were two Cast Members that worked in Recreation that made the vacation very fun. They were always upbeat and they treated me and the other teens staying there feel like they had cast as friends. So the day I left I wrote a letter on Disney Stationary Thanking them for making me have a magical vacation.
