Spray Sunscreen Deals???

I was a little leary to try the spray on stuff, but it seems to be working fine for all of you, I think I will try it next time.

Do you have an Ollie's near you? I got some there for $2.99. It was Coppertone and it expires in 2010. Also second the Christmas Tree Shoppes as someone else posted....they have some for $3.99. We have a pool and keep tons of sunscreen here for us and our guests!!!

CVS has the Neutrogena ones on sale this week for $7.99 and if you buy 2, you get a $5 ECB...

costco is where I just loaded up. two bottles plus the roll on stick for $9.99 with their in store coupon..normally its $13.99 a pack:thumbsup2

I just bought the spray on sunscreen from Aldi's. The Ombra brand was $3.99 per spray can. So far, so good!

Twice last year I had to send back the Banana Boat for a replacement because it stopped spraying shortly after I bought it. The store wouldn't take it back - I had to ship it to Banana Boat. After the same thing happening twice, I will never buy Banana Boat again.

Go to the Ulta website. They have the Spray Sunscreen Super Waterproof SPF 70 buy two get two free right now. I just bought 4 last night. I'm very pale and I use it to get through the summer -- I never burn!

I bought the Wal-Mart and Target store brand of spray for the last few years. They work very well and are cheaper than the brand name.

Love the spray on kind, but it does go fast! Last year we used Target's Up & Up with no problem. This year we're trying CVS as I got a deal with my ECB.

I second the Walmart brand, it is the same ingredients at the brand name stuff and it is $5 a spray bottle at our Walmart.

Just be careful when buying them at some discounters, my stepmom bought some at a dollar store and it must have been old because everyone who used that particular bottle got burned.

Just a couple of days ago, there was an article on AOL News that Consumer Reports had just tested sunscreens. Turns out that only about 8% of them are truly effective against UVA and UVB. They did recommend 4 brands, but I only remember one of them, as it's the one that I use. They recommended Target's Up and Up brand 30 SPF spray. I do remember that the other three were name brands.

Had their brand 2 for $10.00. The cans said 66% more free. In for two.

I just bought the CVS brand for our Memorial day camping trip. 1 can only sprayed 3 people before running out. I have cans of Coppertone sport that we have had a year or 2 and they still have spray in them. I won't buy again andIi was sorely tempted to take the CVS can back and ask for a refund.

Don't forget, ladies, that even "waterproof" sunscreens need to be reapplied after a few hours if you get wet or very sweaty.

Ollie's Outlet and Big Lots have great prices! Picked up Target kids(knock off on coppertone) for $1.99 a bottle at Ollie's and it doesn't expire til 7/11 and picked up Bull Frog spray for $4.50 at Big Lots...expires 5/11.
