Opinions? We just had to do a bit of swapping to accommodate a last minute change of plans & got an ADR for Spoodles, for 4 adults and 3 kids [4,3, &2]. Need some input on what you'll think of the place, appropriate or not, etc?

Thanks in advance.

We really enjoy Spoodles, especially the appetizers. The mediterranean dips are sooo good. The lamb kebabs are very good also. Last time we had the Rigatoni and the oak fired steak kebabs. Both were very good.

I ate there last week, the environment is very kid friendly (it is loud). Of the four meals ordered only one person liked theirs. I got the beef kabobs yuk (which for me to say is really bad since I don't eat fish or chicken), My son got some kind of lemon shrimp with linguine in a butter sauce he did not like it (he's a human garbage disposal) my daughter got the kids pizza she didn't like it (she didn't like anything she got all week, my garbage disposal didn't like it either) the pizza was on some kind of flat bread. My husband got the lobster ravioli he really liked them. My family also got calamari with some kind of salsa/relish type stuff and they all loved it.

DH and I love Spoodles! We have brought the kids there with us too and they loved it also. We have gone many times and can honestly say we have never had a bad meal or bad service there. Last time we were there(July '08) DH and I shared the Margherita Flatbread, Tomato-Buffalo Mozzarella Panzanella, and the Crispy Chicken Cutlet. All were so good we ate everything and they were all decent size portions. The atmosphere is very kid friendly. At the same time it was also perfect for DH and I when we go without the kids. There is an open kitchen so you can see and hear everything going on. I think you will enjoy it.

We couldn't get into LeCellier as walk-ins on our recent trip and had already eaten in several other countries during our stay, so we headed over to the Boardwalk and gave Spoodles a try. No ADRs - just walked in and waited five minutes and they were able to seat us. Very kid friendly but definitely very busy. Our kids are older (11 and 13) so it was a bit distracting with tons of screaming toddlers around - but that's Disney. Just seemed to be an unruly night for misbehaved children! The waiter was quite flustered as well and was covering multiple large parties, so we did not get quick service and never had water refills, even when asked. But three out of four of us enjoyed the meal. I was the only one who was so-so on it. I had the fried chicken cutlet and although the flavor was tasty with the ham and cheese topping, it was overcooked and extremely dry. It really needed some type of sauce to give it some moisture. I would go to Spoodles again, just would order something different.

We ate there in June and it was amazing, tons of pics and full review in my June link

We ate there in June and it was vey bright and loud. I didn't enjoy it. The food was nothing special. It was another of those restaurants that was about the same quality as and Olive Garden. We would not go back.

We were at Spoodles a week ago and it was great. We go every year when we go to Disney. The food is always really good and we have never had any trouble with service or unruly kids. The appetizers are really good and you get a lot of food with them. The main entress are also good size and the deserts we had were really good. You should really enjoy it.

We go out of our way to eat at Spoodles (We usually eat here on our AK day so we go from AK to Boardwalk then to one of the values, which requires a trip to MGM to get a bus).

This is my fav meal. As was mentioned the apps are great. I personally love the muscles. The dips are great as well. Our fav meal is the shrimp linguini. Last trip all 4 of us ordered it and loved it.

We have passed up Spoodles a number of times, but in July we finally tried it and loved the food, atmosphere and service. We had the hummus appetizer and the chef's special of the day, Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli and Rigatoni with Italian Sausage. All were wonderful. :goodvibes

thanks for all the input. I think we have a winner! [even if they have an "off" night, the rest of the opportunities near-by should smooth over anyone having an issue. :)

Love Spoodles! We went there with 4 adults and 5 children under the age of 5 and it was great!!!
