Spoodles Tables for Large Groups??

Has anyone ever been to Spoodles with a large group and have been seated at the table near the brick oven where the chefs are? My DM told me that if you have a big group, you'll sometimes be seated there. Is this true? (I can see why they seat big groups there: they'll have to butter you up so you'll give them that mandatory Party-of-8-or-More 18% tip!! )

When we were there last August we saw a very large group seated where they probably had a pretty good view of the kitchen from one side of the table. Food was great! We ended up going out of our way to eat there again in November.
