Okay, here's the question.

You have ADR's at both Raglans and Spoodles, on two different nights.

You have one Table service meal voucher left, so you need to pay cash for one and the other is on the dining plan.

Which do you pay cash for and which do you use the voucher for?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks a million

I would look at the menu's on All Ears and figure out what I wanted to order. Whichever one costs the most I would use the dining plan credit for that one.

Is Raglan on the Dining Plan? It may not be, in which case the answer is easy.

If Raglan is on the plan for next year, then I'd just check menus and see which one will be more expensive for the credits (based on what I'd eat). Like, at Raglan, I really like the Tricolor chicken - that is a $12.95 meal. At Spoodles, I'd likely go for something pricier.

Thanks.

Downloaded the menus for each and have to spread them out to the DW and dd's to get an idea of their choices.

Called Raglan Road direct to confirm that yes, they are on the plan.

FYI :

Average price of (Appetizer, Entree + dessert) at Raglan Road = $34.55 at Spoodles is $35.35, so pretty close on average.

The Appetizers Average $11.10 At RR and only $7.54 at Sp.

The Entrees are RR $16.43 and Sp $21 (Note RR has a number of lower priced options that helped bring the average down).

Desserts are RR $7.82 and Sp $6.01

Thanks. The reference to ALLEars really helped.

You all saved me from making a big mistake!

I was going to use one of my table credits for the CP character Breakfast, which only costs $17.99/person and includes a drink.

I will now use that for my other Spoodles/raglan road meal. At about an $25/person diff when you count drink +tax +tip, you saved me about $100!

Thanks again to the Disboards!

Jim

Definitely, I'd not do a character breakfast on the dining plan as it isn't really worth it - I didn't look to get the most expensive on the plan, but something that would be well worth the normal price of the plan (when I had gotten it for free). Including the counter service I took home, the average daily amount I'd have spent was about $70.
