Spoodles or Maya Grill?

I've been going over my September ADR's and the only one I'm not 100% is Spoodles. There seems to be a lot of negative reviews for Spoodles lately. I was thinking about switching to Maya Grill for the night instead of Spoodles (lots of availability, so that's not an issue, plus it's really close to the All Stars, which is where we're staying). Which restaurant do you prefer and why? I can't really eat seafood, so I'll probably be sticking with the meat entrees.

We ate at Spoodles on our last vacation and really enjoyed it. We actually didn't choose to eat there this time and we kind of regret it. The portion size was huge...my DH is a big eater and he was full after. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and went for a walk along the boardwalk after the meal. Even my DS8 said it was "great". We have never been to Maya Grill so cant campare.

Spoodles would be my pick. We ate at Maya Grill once and even though it was not bad it was nothing special. We have ate at Spoodles many times over the years and always enjoyed it.

We like both. I like the ambience at Maya Grill much, much better. It's quieter. Spoodles is very noisy.

We had our worse dinner at the Maya Grill last year. We were staying at CSR so thought we'd have dinner here. It took over three hours, which considering we had a three year old with us, was a very long time. The waiter was very rude and never checked to see how we were doing or offer drinks or anything. We talked to the manger at the three hour mark and he's wasn't any better than the waiter. The food was good once it came, but we're staying at CSR again this year and won't be dining at the Grill.

We haven't eaten at either but I cancelled our ADR today for Spoodles. There was only one thing on the menu we would have eaten which was the reason for changing. We found it very, very limiting!
