It seems that lots of posters recommend Spoodles when asked for new places to try. We were only there for breakfast years ago (before the menu change).

For those who have been, please tell me what you liked about it or didn't like.

Thanks,

Kathy

Oh my gosh, where shall I start??

We have eaten at Spoodles every trip since they opened .. sometimes 3 or 4 times, counting breakfast. We wouldn't dream of skipping it. :)

To begin your meal, they serve the most delicious bread with dipping sauce I have ever had. This is not your average olive oil with some spices dip. It has all kinds of wonderful things in it .. don't ask me what .. just give me more! :teeth:

The 4 cheese flatbread is like heaven on a plate! The shrimp appy is very good, too. As far as entrees, the steak is very good. It comes with these yummy fried sweet potatoes. And dessert .. wow! The sampler is so good. Over the years. the selections have changed, but they have always been wonderful!

The service is almost always very good. The decor has a charming Mediterrenean feel with casual wooden tables and no two light fixtures the same. It can be a bit noisy, so we like to eat later in the evening.

We enjoy sitting near the open kitchen and watching the chefs. As the dishes come out .. and the wonderful smells fill your senses, you see just what you want for your next visit .. until the next dish goes by! ;)

I don't know. Spoodles has significanlty changed its menu in recent years. It was once my favorite restaurant, but I just can't bring myself to go back with the limited selections they have now. They had so many seafood tapa style appetizers, plus a wide selection of flatbreads. Personally, I would pass, and definitely don't go for breakfast. It is extremely average. If you are in the area, hit Flying Fish. It does cost a bit more, but the quality is exceptional.

We never miss atrip to spoodles we each time we go to WDW.
I do miss the old tapas menu. They had to change it becouse we americans had no idea how to use it :rotfl2: My wife and I order one each of the appetizer menu and make our own tapas. it is great.Flat bread DIPS, Goat cheese flatbread, tomato flatbread, shrimp, lamb patties and a greek salad. Top it off with some sangria OPPA! It is very mediterainian. They also have a good kids menu w/ individual HAND TOSSED PIZZA.
In short it is a must do.

Good eatin
Tony

The bread they give you to dip and loved the Sangria. The pitcher is so cute, I asked if you could purchase one but you couldn't.
