We have an ADR @ Spoodles for DH's birthday, is there a chance they will acknowledge it in anyway, or should we make our own arrangements?

Come on, help me out here...someone must have had a birthday meal @ Spoodles. Pleaaasseee. :teeth:

1) Any WDW restaurant can acknowledge a birthday.
2) Typically there would be a small cake or cupcake.
3) Let them know at the podium.
4) If you want more, you have to make arrangements AND PAY.

We have had good and nothing happen on our birthdays. You can always ask before if they would do anything if not you could buy a dessert there and maybe they would sing for you.. If you want a cake we would order that before. We had to pay for our dessert. It is nice when they do something special for a birthday.   party: party: party:

we ate there during my daughter's birthday trip in may. when we arrived, we told them it was her birthday. at dessert time, they came out with a cupcake for her, and the whole entire restaurant sang happy birthday to her. we had a few glitches: they sang happy birthday to "mary" (which is not her name), and after that, i realized that i hadn't pressed the "record" button on the video camera. SO, i asked them to do it again, and this time they did it with the right name too :) it was kind of embarrassing, but it made the whole thing a little more fun too!

We did my dh's birthday breakfast there in October. They were really nice. I let them know ahead of time and they brought him a cupcake with a candle in it and sang happy birthday.

Celebrated our daughter's 11th at a breakfast there this April. We let them know when we arrived. They were wonderful with her and even though it was breakfast she received the cupcake. When the cupcake arrived she thanked the waitress for bringing the 'cupcake of her dreams'. However, the cupcake icing was so sweet and buttery (my daughter is not big on sweets), that she jokingly called it the 'cupcake of my nightmares' for the rest of the day. All joking aside, they did a nice job with the singing and the cupcake and our daughter appreciated it very much.

Sure they will, just let the matre di and your server know!
