We went to Spoodles on the Boardwalk yesterday (Sat 2/15) morning for breakfast. They quoted us a 20 minute wait to get in. It was actually about 25. When we were in and seated I was surprised at the number of empty tables. They had 22 empty clean tables and 4 empty, but not bussed tables. In the meantime, the line continued waiting outside.
I asked my server and was told they did not have much waitstaff, so thought it was better to have guests wait outside to get in, rather than wait inside at tables.
While the food was good, the service was slow. They were not cleaning very well - the empty table on one side of us had lots of large food scraps (perhaps from a young child) on the floor and it was not cleaned during the 45 minutes we were there.
Oh well - the rest of the visit at Boardwalk was great. I think we'll skip Spoodles next time.
