What happens in this situation?
My daughters pass will run out in October. It was free, so I know I will have to pay for another one for her. Will she get the free 6-month offer for buying a new one? If so, how does this then work with sponsoring using that pass?
From what I understand, the 3 sponsors need to be gathered in the first 12 months validity of the pass. So, say for example I buy my daughters pass on 2/10/08, and she gets 18 months for the price of 12. Usually, she would need to have sponsored 3 AP purchases between 2/11/08 and 1/10/09, to be able to extend her pass for another 12 months free. But the expiry date on her pass would be 01/04/10. So would she still have to gather the 3 sponsor details before 1/10/09, but then not apply for an extension of this pass for free for another year until March 2010 (within 30 days of the 18-month expiry) or would she not be able to sponsor at all on an 18-month expiry AP?
