Spongebob is generally at the front of the park, along with several other characters at park opening. Later on in the day, you can meet him hanging around the Nickstuff store at various times. There's a little paper insert you'll get when you get your maps which should tell specifically when he'll be hanging around.

When you walk from HRH to US, there is a parking lot and a fence and then another parking lot behind what I think is the Curious George area. We were walking to the park one day and we saw Sponge Bob going out towards a car in that parking lot. He went behind a large van and we couldn't see what he did after that. But we laughed thinking he had just gotten off of work and was about to drive home. A couple of days later we were stuck in traffic and we kept my nephew occupied by looking for SpongeBob on the freeway. I guess it was one of those had-to-be-there moments, but it is a funny memory to us.

Bring $13 for the Sponge Bob Mug. They're everywhere at all drink stands.

Your kid will spot it and want one.

Yeah, it's $13, but your kid will be happy. At least you don't have to win some big prize at the games. Just walk up to the drink stand, fork over your $13, and be done with it. The left over $6 you can use to buy yourself a drink.

i had never heard of Sponge Bob Square Pants until I went to Universal Studios - that guy is everywhere!

My brother and I had our picture taken with him outside the Nick Store.

When we left I had to get a stuffed toy of him

Now he sits proudly next to Dopey!
