Hi,
Are there any Sponge Bob character greetings in Universal studios or Islands of Adventure? My son loves him! Do they have Sponge Bob merchandise?
By the way, does anyone know the lyrics to the theme song from the SpongeBob show?

dd and dbrother luv spongebob too. We didn't see a character greeting for him, but did see plenty of merchandise. There were merchandise in the parks and outside at the stores before you enter either parks.

Yes, the big seller is the Sponge Bob Refillable Soda Cup. It's $12 but well worth it, and the refills are .89 cents. You won't have to look hard to find them, they're at just about every drink stand in the park.

We saw Sponge Bob in March at Universal. Hope he is still around.

SpongeBob has an indoor character greeting area once you get off the Jimmy Neutron attraction. He's on one side. Jimmy's on the other.

No, you don't need to go on the ride to see SpongeBob (though, when you get down to it, SpongeBob does have a cameo in the ride film). You can actually get to the greeting area through the Nick store that's right past the entrance to the show (and where it empties out).

As a tip, the greeting lines will obviously grow just as the show lets out. So if you can spend some time in the interactive areas and time it right you might get the characters to yourself.

Hi, we just returned and Sponge Bob was right outside the Jimmy Neutron ride in the Nick store. After the ride let out, people got in line for him but it was a small line. Don't know if people just didn't see him there. I was with two teens who didn't want to pose with him, but after about 5 minutes, there was no line and he was just standing there, so I talked them into getting pics with him. I was cracking up just standing there next to Sponge Bob because I think he's so funny.

I loved all the merchandise in the Nick store. I was looking for a bathing suit for my boys but couldn't find any - just boxer shorts, T shirts, beach towels, etc. Lots of cute toys and stuff.

We have also seen him outside the Universal Store right inside the park. He was with all of the Rugrats, Shrek a couple of the characters from the Wild Thornberrys, and some other characters that I cannot remember.
