I know this is a disney site, but we have signed up for breakfast at the Nick hotel with SBSP and Dora, and wondered if anyone had been and knew what it was like?
Thankyou in advance for any info you can share

Hi,

No, you can talk about all things Florida here, especially Universal ;)

Have never been myself, but I know some friends who have and they said it was brilliant.
The Nick theming at the hotel is very good , we actually stayed there when it was called the Holiday Inn Family Suites, and had a walk round during the 'Nick' renovation...it's a great place for kid's.

dont know about the nick hotel but at universal studios you can meet spongebob and have an autograph.

my dd would love to meet dora (if she has not out grown her by then!!) Do you have to be at the hotel to book the breakfast?

thank you for the link. on the website it says "The Character Breakfast is for guest staying at the Nickelodeon Family Suites only. "

we emailed the hotel and they said that they could organise breakfast for us, they never asked if we were staying in the hotel...
Awaiting confirmation from bookings people, so ill let you know but its 17 dollars and 10 dollars kids 3-9...
hope this helps

You can meet Dora (and get an autograph) at Universal. We took a pic and got her autograph for DS last year - she was great :)

I think you can still actually book it though, despite what it says - the Nick Hotel is one of those that is so kid friendly , to be honest you could spend the day round the pool and no-one would question whether you were guests or not - not that we have done that of course....

When we were there in December, we all had to wear wrist bands and use our key to gain entry to the pool.

Don't think you would be able to spend the day at the hotel if you are not a guest.

Also the entry into the hotel is also manned and you have to show proof of being a guest before they let you in.

We stayed at the Nick Hotel last April and we did the breakfast. It was fun but Dora wasn't there that day, we had Spongebob and Patrick and lots of the Rugrats characters. My DD was a bit disappointed not to meet Dora but then (as others have said) she met her and had her photo taken outside Universal Studios. Just be careful to tell your kids that they can't guarantee who will be there.

The breakfast was fun but I was v.disappointed with the food quality, it wasn't up to the standards of character b/fsts at Disney restaurants.

I am sure you will have a great time though.

Nicola
