**spoilers*** Lost Season Five **spoilers**

Probably the one that Dr Marvin Candle as referred to many times....

That's what I thought right away, but we really don't know anything about the incident do we, except that it's definitely not the purge as the tapes we saw of the Dr were from when the hatches were controlled by Dharma...

Someone mentioned here that they thought that Sawyers new name, LeFleur, was on the uniform of one of the Dharma bodies. Those people that Ben was responsible for killing. Could be he's the one.

I will be devastated if they kill Sawyer. I just can't fathom them doing that. If they do kill him off, I really don't think it will be the end of him. He will come back in some shape or form. He is too important to the audience. I would rather they kill off Jack!

No! Don't kill off either of them!

Great episode tonight! Lots of info, and as usual, more questions.

Whoever said Amy's baby was Ethan was right on the money!

Did you catch when Hurley was talking to Sawyer about being part of the Dharma Initiative and they all died - Sawyer said Daniel told them that there are certain things they can and can't do, and Jack said "Daniel's here?" and Sawyer said "not any more." Hmmm, maybe Daniel's the major character who dies?

So young Ben brings a sandwich to Sayid in jail. Does Sayid have any idea that it's 1974 and that the kid who said his name is Ben is really the adult Ben that we all know and hate?

I wanted to scream at Sun! She and Frank are walking on the dock and there's the nasty rustling in the jungle that means Smokey is out there. AND SUN JUST KEEPS ON WALKING TOWARD IT!!!

Will Christian somehow help Sun get back to 1974 with Jin? And just how will he do it (if he does)?

A couple more things:

Kind of neat the way Sawyer pointed out to Jack that HE (Sawyer) was in charge now. Way to go Sawyer!:thumbsup2 I really liked the way he told Jack that he needs to think, not act.

Kind of dumb for Jack to go visit Sawyer the first night he arrives on the island. That Phil guy was looking at Jack kind of weird when Jack asked him which house was LaFleur's. How much do you wanna bet that if their cover gets blown, it's because of Jack?

I can't wait to see how Sawyer gets Sayid out of jail. Since they have a truce with the Others/Hostiles, maybe Sawyer can have another pow wow with Richard, tell him about Sayid and hopefully Richard will take care of Sayid? I don't know.....I'm just thinking out loud here.

Good episode. They said it was 1977.

I can't wait to see next week. Looks like he let's Sayid escape while it seems that all hell will break loose.

It was cool to see Ben again as a kid. Sayid sure did know it was evil Ben.

Juliet seemed pretty jealous. I think she did that on purpose....making Kate sweat a bit. Then she warns her to stay away next week.

It was neat to have Sawyer and Jack in a role reversal.

Can't wait to see how Sun gets to 1977. It was interesting to hear the voices and then Christian appears. That's happened before. So maybe dead people helping out appear that way.

In the next episode when Sayid says he knows why he is suppose to be there, do you think it was to kill Ben?

counting down to next Wednesday. :)

Good episode. I had a thought. The extermination of the Dharma group was brought up to Sawyer early in the episode. I wonder if he will have Sayid kill young Ben in an effort to stop the eventual take over by the Others?

Yeah, I thought that, too, but wouldn't that violate the "don't change anything in the past" rule? I mean, if Ben doesn't wipe out Dharma, then quite possibley Dharma will still be going strong when 815 crashes on the island in 2004.

Here's another idea: what if the Losties actually help with the purge for some reason? When all the Dharma folks were killed, the Hostiles/Others all wore jumpsuits and gas masks - it's quite possible the Losties were under those gas masks.

ETA: we know the Losties have to survive the purge somehow, because they have to still be alive in 2004 to be able to crash on the island, right?

I was thinking: could it be that SUN will be the person who will eventually save the Losties and get them from 1977 back to the present time? I kind of figured Locke would be the one to do it, but maybe he's served his purpose?

Or does Christian have evil motives and he's not really going to help Sun reunite with Jin?

And I hope that whatever happens, that Frank is ok. I really like him. He seems like a nice guy who just happens to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Here's a screencaps circulating....some girl is behind Sun.

I thought Daniel told them something like whatever has happened, will happen (when they met up with Amy's group). So doesn't that mean the Losties can't change the future despite their interactions with people in the 1970's?

More questions....why didn't Sun jump to 1977? I understand Ben's (not part of the original flight) & Locke's (replacing / re-enacting Christian) not jumping, but why not Sun?

I can't see anyone behind sun?:confused3

Although, that might make sense (as if anything makes sense on this show!). The last time we saw Claire she was with Christian.

There is a girl sitting behind Sun, to her right.

If you watch the scene, you can see her better because her head moves.

Read two differant re-caps this morning and two things stood out. One is that the uniform Jack was given said "work man", wasn't that the name on the uniform of the corpse in the blue and white van? Although I do seem to remember Ben's dad being the one, could it have been Jack instead?

The second thing was a speculation that Sayid meets with Ben because the Island wants him to kill Ben in order to "fix" the mistake it made in letting Ben become leader.

I think Sayid will think he's there to kill little Ben but I really don't think that will happen. I just can't see any show killing off a kid that hasn't done anything bad yet.

I read that we will see alot of little Ben in the upcoming episodes, learning how/why Ben became so evil.

Actor playing little Ben says:

You're going to find out how Ben became the mean, cruel Ben that he is today. And you're going to find out about the roots of the island and how the island became the island. ... In two of the episodes, I'm really not doing a lot, but you just see me a lot, and you'll see what I mean by that.

I think there are a lot of workman uniforms and wouldn't read too much into it, especially because the Purge doesn't happen until 1992. We have 15 years to get to that. Plus, with the season finale being called "The Incident" we can possibly assume that we're only going to go forward in time as far as the Incident, which took place sometime around now--since the good Dr mentions it in some of the Hatch videoes.

And no one will kill young Ben. That simply can't happen. If it did, Ben would have not been around to mess with us for the last few seasons.

It could have focused on the "workman" because the Dr goes on to say that based on his IQ test (not exact quote) he is best suited to be a janitor. I think it's just some light humor because Jack is actually a doctor.

And the workman corpse found by sawyer is Ben's dad because a later episode (where it shows the actual purge) it shows Ben's dad in the can with him and tehn Ben pushing the van down the hill with his dead dad (in the workman's uniform) in it.
