Over the weekend we 2adults,and 4kids to Denver, CO. Stayed one night went shopping and went to Fat City(indoor fun center), Ate out. Had a fun time. But...
Boy are we spoiled by Disney. The whole weekend it was drive around go to one place then the next. I kept thinking to myself good grief with the money we spent here we could of saved it for Disney.
I was always telling the little kids dont let go of mommys hand. Always checking to make sure we had enough $$$, for shopping and food and snacks, and GAS!!!
Dont get me wrong I love Denver. I just like having everything paid for up front, not having to drive around, feeling safe and secure. We fly to Disney, and use the ME. We also get the DDP.
It just felt like we were getting the $$$ out every 5minutes. Kids had their $$(I carried for the younger ones) I just like putting the $$ on room card and swipe.
I will continue going to Denver, but I will be thinking of WDW
and the next time we go. 2008

but I kind of know how you feel. It's nice to not have to drive or at least not drive a lot when you stay onsite at WDW. Plus you have your passes and don't have to worry as much about admissions.
