Splitting Table Service Meals

Is it possible to split a table service meal on the dining plan? I would think we would occasionally order an appetizer and one meal might be enough for my husband and myself.

You cannot split meals on DDP at:

Buffets
Family-style all you can eat restaurants (or specific all you can eat meals like LTT dinner or WCC dinner)
Dinner shows
Fixed price restaurants (Akershus or CRT)
Via Napoli (this place requires that each DDP diner spend a credit)

Otherwise, sharing seems to be generally allowed. Some places have menu items "for two" which will cost 2 credits to order.
