Splitting points...

I'm sure this has been asked before, but are you able to split points with another member for a stay? Example: Two families in a Grand Villa splitting the points cost evenly.

You can accomplish this in one of two ways:

• One member could transfer their portion of the points needed to the other member. The member that received the points would make the reservation.
• Each member could make half of the reservation and then have member services link them as a 'Continuing Stay'.

and if you do it via the second bullet, it has to be on a day basis (i.e. you can't supply half the points for a day and the other person supply the other half.)

I've done it with a friend both ways but it is easier just to each book some nights and then link them.
