Splitting Payment Question?

We are fortunate that our neighbors will be in Disney a few of the same days as our trip. We are dining at Chef Mickey's for brunch on one of those days. We are a party of 8. The 4 of them are on the DDP and the 4 of us are not. Will they split the check for both families so we can pay in our different methods - entitlements vs. OOP? We've never dined with another family before so this might seem a silly, basic question but we both were wondering. Thanks!

They're great about this. We went with 14 of us with 6 parties, some DDP and some not. They always asked when they first came to our table (who is on DDP and how will they be breaking it up) and it was always handled well.

Yes, they will split it. My parents are locals and always spend time with us at Disney but never stay on property or have the DDP. Usually the server asks at the beginning of the meal if we are on the DDP and we explain who is and who isn't, but if they don't ask just tell them.

They are pretty good about asking you before you order anything. They will accommodate you!

1) They will split checks, EXCEPT if someone is using TIW for everyone.
2) The holder of the TIW must pay for everyone's check or not get the discount - no splitting of checks allowed per the rules.

Yep, never had a problem splitting checks at Disney. The servers seem pretty used to it!
