Splitting cost of 1 villa between 2 owners

Hi, I did my best to find this answer through search , but failed

Let's say my family and another family who are also owners, wanted to stay together in a 2 bedroom villa, and split the point cost, how would that work? Would one of us have to transfer points to the other, so the owner receiving the points could make the booking? Can that be done online or would we have to call?

The only way to create one single reservation is to do what you say...transfer the points from one to the other...that must be done by a phone call. The receiving owner can then book the new room under there account.

Most reports are that owners trying to use the points during the home resort period of the transferred in points struggle online and have to call. Using transferred points at 7 months or less online is not an issue.

Remember, if the other person owns a different home resort, that still stands and cant be combined with a different home resort for booking until 7 months in.
