Splitting bills

I'm going with my mam and my sister next month. we'll have four kids with us too. Will we be able to split bills in restaurants and pay by card? I don't like carrying too much cash around with me.

No pb, we do it all the time. We just say so much on that card and so much on that one and the rest by cheque or cash depending
