I am planning on spliting my vacation between Disney and Universal. It looks like 5 days Disney and 3 days Universal, maybe 1 day Discovery Cove, next June. Which should I do first? How do I get from one place to another, what I mean is I realy do not want to rent a car. Taxi? Shuttle? I know Disney has Magical express, so I am thinkning I should go there first? Does Universal have anything similar?

I would do Disney first if you plan on staying at an onsite hotel in Universal. If you stay at an onsite Universal hotel your room card will get you to the front of the line for all of the rides (kind of like the ultimate fastpass). It would be really hard to go to Universal first and then have to go to Disney and wait in those lines. So, I would vote for Disney first.

As for transportation, you could have a car service transfer you from Disney to Universal and then use a service to take you from Universal to the airport. It is a quick cab ride to Sea World and Discovery Cove. Universal offers a resort bus that drops you off at Sea World and Wet n Wild although it's limited service. We usually use it in the morning and then take a cab back. If you rent a car, you will have to pay to park it at the Universal hotels.

i do split vacations every year.

i stay onsite at disney first then move to universal.

i book private car service for a 3 leg trip.
mco to wdw.
wdw to uo
uo to mco

i spend $120 for this plus get a free grocery stop.

you can take mears free bus from mco to wdw.
then take the mears shuttle to universal.
mears also provides transportation from universal to and from with mears.

check the mears site.

if you are interested in taxi service only, use this chart.
open the link and list your places for info on costs.

I agree 100%!!! :thumbsup2

i have never been interested in doing discovery cove but many are.

in the passporter.com site, there was an excellent report with pictures featured on discovery cove. you will get a lot of insight into it if you read that article. it might help you make a decision if you do want to try DC next year.

i'm not willing to part with a day and that much money on it.
and the wetsuit, ahem, wouldn't be a pretty sight.

i'm more into the parks and shopping type of homie. i hate to give up any of that time i have there.

some trippies have info on DC which really open the readers eyes up to how marvelous it is.
