Split up family FP with rider swap

New here, so this may be a stupid question (be kind). I am trying to plan FP/itinerary for my family (2 adults, 3 children). Our youngest is 42", too short for a few of the rides. If we set FP for 1 adult and 2 older kids for RnRC, go to the queue as a whole family to get a rider swap pass, can we set up the other adult and youngest child with FP for Fantasmic? Then would those 2 be able to go into Fantasmic and get good seats (in the general area, not FP reserved area) before the rest of the crowd and save 3 seats for the rest of the family? Or is there no "seat saving?"

There's no reason to get FPs for Fant if you are planning to sit in the Standby area. FP guests and Standby guests enter the amphitheater at the same time.

You can try for Fantasmic FPs as your 4th or later FPs for everyone, or, just enter the Standby area as a complete group.

OK, thank you! I didn't realize everyone entered at the same time. I thought I had read somewhere that with FP for Fantasmic, you could either sit in the FP area, or have the chance to get better seats in the standby seating. Thanks for clearing that up!
