We're arriving in value season and will be there for holiday season. I know you get the rate of value season when checking in for your full stay....but, does this still apply if you split your stay between two different WDW resorts? We would then be checking into the second resort during holiday season.

You would probably be charged the holiday rate if you checked into the second hotel once the holiday season started. That's how it's worked out for us on our upcoming trip. We've got AKL at a rate for value season but when we check into the Polynesian, it's regular season so it will be a different rate.

Thanks, that's not what I was hoping for. I was hoping to tack on a few days at the end of our POP stay at AKL. I figured with the hoards of people that'll be at WDW during X-mas, a nice break would be taking advantage of a resort that has a lot to offer for kids. It sounds like AKL might be a good choice for that. I guess I'll have to see what's what when and if AP rates come out for December.

Last year, the AP rates for December went up until 25th or 26th I think. So maybe things will work out :) You might end up leaving POP a day early in order to get AKL at the value season rate though. AKL is one of my favourites so if you're not going to the parks, it would be a great resort to hang out at :)
