We are going to Disney in April with my daughter’s dance group. We have a hotel stay booked with them from Sunday-Saturday and also purchased our tickets through them but they are not a package. It’s a room only and then separate tickets. We decided to fly down a few days earlier and I booked a separate room only reservation from Friday-Sunday. My question is will I be able to use my tickets starting on Saturday? I’m hoping to be able to connect the two reservations and stay in the same room, if I can will I need to still check out of the first reservation and into the second on a Sunday?
I have visited Disney many times but only as a package so this is a lot different from how I have visited the 10 other times I’ve gone.

Are you staying at a Disney Resort? When you stay at a Disney Resort you do have to check out and back in again. They told me to come to the front desk for this. I was allowed to stay in the same room, but that’s not guaranteed. If you are staying at a Disney Resort be sure to link both stays in My Disney Experience. Link your tickets as well. You would then be able to make all of your fast pass selections 60 days before your first reservation. If the tickets are the new date specific tickets you may need to change them in order to use them prior to your second hotel reservation. It’s a little more complicated now with the new tickets.

Yes we are staying at Pop Century for both reservations. I have the first reservation linked into my Disney experience already and will do the same with I receive the reservation number for the second part of the stay from our dance studio. That should be next month we have made our final payment.
As far as the tickets I’m not sure if they are the new style of tickets or the older style? They will purchased through Disney Yourh Group program next month. We have a 5 day hopper plus water park pass.

If the tickets are a package with the second room, you will not be able to use them until you activate them in person at guest services. This means for the earlier stay no advance FP+.

Sounds like those could be flexible date tickets, you’ll find out when you get them. Link them in your My Disney Experience, and since you said they are not part of a room package, you should be able to use them starting when you arrive.

Thank-you, that is what I’m hoping
