Split Stay

On our vacation in a few weeks we are doing a split stay - 3 nights at Paradise Pier and 3 nights at Disneyland Hotel. Will the hotels assist us in transferring our luggage? How does this work?

I do it all the time at WDW. I'm sure it will work the same at DL.

Call Bell Services to grab your bags, ask them to transfer them to new resort, check out, go to the parks for the day, check into new resort and call BS to bring your bags up. Couple tips and done!

Yes they will. Just go to bell services and ask nicely. They will absolutely transfer your luggage for you, easy peasy.

We did a split stay between those hotels 3 years ago and they did NOT transfer our bags. We had to walk them over and check in, and have the bellhops hold them in storage until our room was ready, then we had to call down for our bags when we got to our room. It was such a pain. I would strongly recommend you call the hotel directly and ask if they transfer bags.

Last time we moved from GCH to DLH they did NOT move it for us. We had to do it. So call and ask

We have stayed at both hotels and have walked between the two many times. So even if you have to take your luggage from one to the other, it's a short little walk between the two hotels. But it wouldn't hurt to call the hotel to ask if they will transfer for you. Maybe you'll get some magical pixie dust tossed your way!
