We will be arriving Oct. 22nd(evening) and staying for the night at one of the All Stars. The next day we start our package(tickets, dining) at POR. Will we need to get up early and make the trip to POR to get the tickets so we can be in the parks by opening? Not a fan of taxis so how do we get from All Star Music to POR at 7:30 in the morning? First time doing a stay like this.

Park tickets can be picked up 3 days prior to the start of a package, so if you get in early enough that first night, you can get your park tickets the night before your package starts. But if that's not doable for you, you will have to go to POR the next morning and check in before going to the park. Keep in mind that early ticket pick up is for park tickets only and your DDP credits won't be available until you actually check in for your package. So if you need/want the DDP credits for your park day, picking up your park tickets early will not do any good as you will need to check in at POR and get your KTTW cards with your DDP credits in order use the DDP that day. I'm not sure how early the buses start running in the morning, but if you don't want to take a taxi, you will have to take a bus to a park and then hop on a bus from there to POR to check in and then head to the park. By doing this over taking a taxi, you would have to leave your luggage with bell services and they will transfer it to POR (usually gets to new resort between 1-3 pm) as luggage is not allowed on Disney transporation.
