I am doing a split stay. 5 nights at the WL and 6 at the poly. I will have 9day MYW +dining at the WL and 1day MYW package at Poly.
Will I be able to transfer my remaining days on ticket from the WL to the Poly reservation?
Also should I add another day to the 9 day instead of activating the 1 day pass? And if I do transfer the remaining ticket days to my poly ressie how do I avoid using the 1 day base.
I hope I made this clear.

That's an interesting question. I thought people's tickets were on the room keys when they buy packages. But with the ability to buy more days than what you're staying I'm wondering how that'd work. :scratchin If they don't give you separate tickets and keep it on your room key then you should be able to transfer it to your 2nd destination/reservation.

Where are all the package/ticket experts at? :upsidedow

I have the same problem and was told by several people on the phone and on these boards that it cant be done. I was also told by a smaller amount of people that once I check in to my first hotel I can ask at that time and possibly something can be done at that time....otherwise, I am not paying the one day price and will use that single day as a room only ressie and check out the other resorts and downtown....we plan to rent the bikes and hang by the pool....

You would need at least a one day ticket on your second stay. You can't apply the tickets from your first hotel.

Then are they keeping old room keys active so they can use the park ticket feature? Seems kind of pointless to buy extra days if you can't use them.

So can anyone explain exactly how it does work when you split your stay. Would you get the rooms as room-only and buy the tickets separately?

Last year we did a split stay 6 days at POP w/dining and 9 day MYW ticket then 6 days room only at Poly. We didn't ask about transferring our tickets - we just kept our room key cards from POP and used them for park admission. They expired as far as room key and resort ID goes but the park admission assigned to them are still good for 14 days after the first use (non-hoppers). It meant carrying two sets of keys but that wasn't that much of a problem.

We just did a Split stay with dining in June. Here is how it worked.

We were staying for 7 days, six nights. Three nights at the Beach Club, and then three nights at the Poly.

First we stayed at the Beach Club. We received our keys which had our Room Keys for BC, three days of Dining, and SIX days of unlimited Park Hoppers.

Then, we stayed at the Poly. We received our NEW keys with our room key at Poly, three days of Dining, and one day Single Park Admission.

I immediately marked the old Beach Club keys with a Sharpie with a "T" for tickets. That way my two boys could know which one to use for Tickets, and which one to use for Snacks and the room. (As an aside, I also made sure I said, "Remember, use the one with the T, whenever we got ready to enter a park.")

It worked for us, and it wasn't confusing. We just had to keep track.:thumbsup2 Have a great time!
