Split Stay w/Late Arriving Spouse, Reservation/Ticket ?

Working on a quick WDW getaway here in October 14-18 but with the school situation and DW's new job we have to be flexible to make it work. The plan is to arrive sometime Wednesday the 14th with me and the 3 boys (12,9,4), stay at Pop Century, and Possibly hit Epoct with them. DW doesn't know if she can make down late Thursday the 15th or Friday the 16th. We will be switching to CB with a 5th sleeper room to accommodate on the 15th. Right now we have a room only at Pop with a package for CB. Is there a way to setup the reservation to not have waste a ticket day for my DW but also still use the resort park reservation option for her? looking for options.

I would change your CBR reservation to room-only, and buy the tickets separately. With the new date-based tickets, your package tickets won't be valid prior to the CBR check-in. Even if you can change them onsite, you won't be able to make park reservations until that point.

But to specifically answer your question -- you could buy the shorter length of tickets (what your wife needs) with the package and then add extra days when you arrive. Similar as noted above, though, you can't make park reservations until you have tickets for those days.

How late wouls she arrive on the 15th? The parks close early so probably wouldn’t get much park time in anyway.
