Split Stay Transportation

Can anyone tell me how they get from one Disney hotel to another on a split stay? Does Disney offer any kind of shuttle or do you have to take a taxi?

WDW will transfer your luggage to the other resort. You bring your luggage down to bell services and tell them you need the luggage transferred. They will move the luggage. It may take a few hours. Typically, people will take the bus to a park and spend some time there. Then they take the bus to the other resort.

If you want to go directly to the other resort, and take your luggage with you, then a taxi is the only option.

Not sure what resorts you were thinking of, but just an FYI - Swan & Dolphin are not Disney resorts and Disney will not transfer luggage to/from there. I ran into this in October.

Maine_jennifer, things must have change withe the swan and dolphin, because last sat. night we ad to change resorts from FQ to dolphin because a flight was canceled and theytransfered are bags for us then the next morning we moved back to POR, because we could not get a flight till tuesday night, and they transfered are bags back to POR for us without any problems.

Wow - that's great!!!! Being the cautious person I am though, I would just double check. In all things Disney, some things are never the same way twice. lol
